There's no perfect religion, in my opinion. But for ME, my perfect religion is Heathenism (which is, by the way, the term used for Pagans that worship the old Germanic/Norse gods and goddesses). I've always had my personal beliefs which changed little over the time I spent searching for the gods and goddesses to call to me. Once I re-stumbled (I say that cause it was under my nose the entire time) across Heathenism, I realized that everything I felt was listed right there! What a great feeling to finally find home!

I don't think there truly is such a thing. There are certainly religions that I like a lot, and that are near perfect... but come on there's no such thing as perfect. There's always going to be something about your religion that you don't completely agree with, and that's the beauty of being open-minded or eclectic.

Big difference between RELIGION and FAITH. Faith is what you feel inside of you. Religion is what society teaches you... Most of the times, our faith is manipulated by religion... So I think the perfect Religion is the one that you feel is inside of you. If it's Jesus, Bhudda or Mohhamed, that doesn't matter... whatever floats your boat, that's where you have to go.

Refreshing! I love the way you worded this. You realize that the answer is not absolute, but rather subjective and personal.

I choose Catholicism mixed with a splash of Buddhism. Shhh...don't tell the Vatican, I'll be in trouble ;)

I'm Kemetic, and, WOW, I couldn't imagine being anything else!

I don't have have one god. I have many gods and goddesses which form into one mobile, mutable energy, maintaining the earth's stasis.

My gods are not omnipotent, stern, or judgemental. They are loving. They are flawed. They are male, female, masculine, feminine, androgenous, heterosexual, bisexual, homosexual, romantic, passionate, vengeful, jealous, fierce, loyal, and understanding.

Prayer is not submissive and fearful. It's interactive, and appealing to all five senses through incense, music, color, drapery, and edible offerings.

I'm Kemetic because when I pray, worship, meditate, or just thank my Netjeru (gods), I FEEL religious :)

god says in quran
"alyam akmaltu lakum deenakum wa tmamtu alaikum ne"amatee,wa radaytu lakum al islam deena"
meanining
" now i have completed to you the religion
fulfilled my blessings(not exact translation)
and accepted to you the islam as a religion"

there are few things god said in quran, and promesies god took on himself not mentioned in any other religion"

and that was one of them
the other thing
"inna anzalna althikra wa inna lahu la7afithoon"
meaning
]"I(god) broght the quran to man and i ll protect it"
this was never mentioned for any other book of gods
so it is god made not mans made
and gods made is the perfection
the sun is rising evry day, thats god made...
