I don't mean psychotic, but being or feeling diasembled by pain, abuse, and trauma?

I don't have anxiety attacks, but I lost my ability be feel normal because all I've had in six years was abuse from my ex, some of my family, and various other people.

Yes. Sometimes it's like being out of my body, or watching things like it's a movie or something. Disconnected, not attatched. It's a defense mechanism, to keep from painful reality. I have been out of the abuse for 10 years, and still space off at times, and can't control it, it's a weird feeling. I believe it's called dissacociative disorder, and goes along with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, along with anxiety attacks. I don't think it ever goes away completely. After someone damages you that way, you may 'heal' but you will never be the same.
