if i left him a business card of where i work with the words,
"can't get you out of my head..come in for a sandwich sometime"
is this inappropriate?

"can't get you out of my head" sounds a little desperate, so that won't work. I think you should disguise your desperation with *********. Leave him a card and say, "If you come in for a sandwich, I'll pretend not to realize that you really just want to come see me."

Well that is fine, just wait and see if he is curious....I wanted to have an affair with this cute guy at work....So I asked him out....we are now 26 years married, together 3 years before that (I call that Practicing) so being the woman, and wanting someone and being forward enough to ask him out can pay off. (What I didn't know was he was married with 3 kids, and had left his wife 3 times....no I didn't feel like a home wrecker, because he was looking for a way out...I did make it easier...and have 3 wonderful Step Children now all grown up and our Son now Grown up....almost) Just be sure....
