a guy (Ron) i used to like that also liked me, recently got back with his ex. i havent spoken to him in a month but a few weeks ago he texted me asking if i liked this other guy. well actually i got that text from my cousins cell phone but my cuz told me it was ron who texted it to me. ron has also called me from a restricted # multiple times. now i heard from my cuz that he's single but i still didnt text ron. so a few minutes ago he texted me saying hey whats up. should i respond? how long should i wait till i do? or what should i say to him?

The fact that you ask if you are just a fall back to Ron indicates that you suspect you are or at least feel something is not quite right.If this guy liked you and wanted to be with you , he wouldn't have gone back to his ex when he had the opportunity to be with you. I think he knew it wasn't working with his ex and that they might soon break up so he was trying to make sure he had a girl to fall back on.Text him back and say you got his text but did not want to create a problem for him with his girlfriend. Don't answer the question about the other guy and if he repeats the question just ask why he is interested in whom you are dating; after all he has a girlfriend.Although you liked him, and he is now single , don't try to get with him. He is fickle and you need somebody who will not always be trying to change gals like he does his t-shirts.You deserve better than that so do not settle for less.
