job 1. someone was stealing money from my register and I was getting blamed for being a theif but I wasn't-I don't know if it was jealousy-induced

job2. I had a co-worker tell the campus security that I had a faculty sticker and was parking in faculty lots b/c my mother was an employee and my car was registered in her name(I was supposed to have it in my name for the school). She didn't think it was fair that I didn't have to use student parking lot like her, it wasn't fair but STILL, that was pretty shitty, I had to walk like 10000000miles to class in Feb. in Maine and I was pregnant.

Just last week, one of the cashiers told my boss that I took a 2 hour lunch. She was jealous because I was the Relief Supervisor and let one of the other cashiers have 1 1/2 hrs of overtime. I had checked out of my cashier drawer early, since I had made a couple of mistakes and didn't want to make any more, and so I could get my supervisor's drawer balanced. The person who told this lie gets overtime at least 3 nights a week, so it wasn't as if she was losing money. I think she wants my job. If she really wants it she should have said so when the job opened up. I was asked to take the position, I didn't request it!

One time, the boss sent a group of us to Las Vegas to learn about the way they deal cards, and then come home to teach the dealers of our casino the Vegas ways.

Well, I was trained in Vegas a few years earlier, so I already knew. I took what the boss sent us out there for as a refresher course.

One woman in our group could not get the hang of it. And so she told the boss that we hadn't even bothered to go to the classes, That we spent the time playing in the casinos, and then "made up" the things we were now teaching the dealers.

We all got punished for that. I got sent to work in a different dept of the casino, along with a couple other people... Boss Checked it out and eventually discovered that we weren't lying, but that this woman was lying.

We got put right back into the training dept and I got a nice raise. I assume the others probably did, too. Woman who lied did not last in our casino for long, after that.

A jealous co-worker cursed my and the owner of the company in the presence of the owner of the company when I received a raise. The co-worker knew the salaries of the others in the office, and knew she was still making substantially more than I was. For this outburst and for her poor work performance with the company, she was fired about a week later.

I had this old bitty who was a jealous old snot. She didn't want to better herself yet she was always standing in the way of anyone who ever did.

She hated me right off the bat. I was the youngest woman in that entire office. I cleared up the purchase orders in the department I was hired for within 2 weeks (they had been backed up for 4 months and I was the 3rd person they had hired) so after 2 weeks I sat there twiddling my thumbs. They couldn't believe it. Within 3 months I was promote to another job. It was a newly created job and they wanted me to create "programs" for the hundreds of construction projects they put out each year. Well once again I got that place so organized it practically ran itself. I had been there about 8 months at this point and wanted to get into purchasing (as a buyer this time not a clerk) but she went screaming to the manager and said she would file a grievance if they promoted me again. So literally this biotch made me get stuck where I was for years. But eventually I made it into the department. I told them I would do it at the same pay (which was thousands less than even the training position paid) but I wanted in. They couldn't say no as I had even taken courses on my own time qualifying me fully for the job. So I got in. This was year 3. I eventualy got in full time and there was nothing the old dog could do. Not only did I straighten up THAT department but I computerized it and came up with a system of rotating suppliers that was used by 14 other district offices.

The Human Resources manager wanted me to take over the accounting department for 6 months but both this old hag and another in the same department joined forces and already had sent off a letter of complaint to the union before I had even replied as to whether I would take the job or not.

I told the manager nuh-uh...since I would have inherited both these useless twits and been their direct supervisor.

So did THEY look stupid when I played dumb and said to the union guy HUH? What job? Why would I ever want to take over that silly department?

Of course one of them took the job and was a complete disaster at it and almost had a nervous breakdown.

It's fun watching people make total morons of themselves for the sake of petty jealousy. You have to be one step ahead of people like that.

We have a Hispanic girl that accused me of calling someone a "Fu*king Mexican" a few months back. When I found out I was PISSED. I am not racist at all. I have actually dated a couple of Hispanic guys before meeting my husband. My boss knew that I would never say anything like that though. We let it drop, but I don't talk to her like I did before.
