I used to work @ walgreens but i didnt get the position i wanted which was a pharmacy technician - i am a pharmacy student at my community college. i hear it is an extremeley stressful job - but i dont care i just want to be able to help people, and make more than minimum wage - i dont want tips on how to impress the managers like ive said ive been there done that. enlighten me about pharmacy. thanx - ♥

I know that James but what im saying is how stressful do you think the job is ? where do you work ? how long have you been working there ? what do they pay you ? is it worth it ? how about holidays, do you work on holidays ?

I know a pharmacists, they have six years of schooling,all they do is just counsel patients and check the pharmacy tech's work (medicine). It pays 74,000 a year

Pharmacy can be a stressful job. Since you are doing your prereqs at a community college, you'll need to get a bachelors to be competitive. Also, they value good communication skills. The average successful candidate went to a 4 year college, had a GPA in the mid 3s and a PCAT of greater than 75.
