My husband's cousin made this dip for us not too long ago. It looks weird and gross, but tastes soooo good! Plus, it's super easy to make!
1 package of bulk sausage (in a roll). Jimmy Dean is best.
1 8oz package of cream cheese.
Brown sausage in sauce pan. Drain, return to pan. Add in cream cheese and heat until cheese is melted. Pour mixture into a bowl and serve with your favorite chips!
It's very easy, and tastes great! The contrast of the sweet cream cheese and the salty, spicy sausage is very good.

This is a recipe for pan fried onion dip that you serve with potato chips - it's a little bit of work but it's delicious. Every time I go to a party this recipe is requested:
2 large yellow onions
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
¼ cup vegetable oil
¼ teaspoon ground cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon kosher salt
½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
4 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
½ cup sour cream
½ cup good mayonnaise
Cut the onions in half and then slice them into 1/8-inch thick half rounds. (You will have about 3 cups of onions.)
Heat the butter and oil in a large sauté pan on medium heat. Add the onions, cayenne, salt and pepper and sauté for 10 minutes. Reduce the heat to medium-low and cook, stirring occasionally, for 20 more minutes, until the onions are browned and caramelized. Allow the onions to cool.
Place the cream cheese, sour cream and mayonnaise in the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with a paddle attachment and beat until smooth. Add the onions and mix well. Taste for seasonings.
Serve at room temperature.

My Favorite Spinach dip is:
1 can 15oz. canned Spinach-drain thoroughly
( I squeeze all the excess juice out of it.
24 oz. Sour Cream ( Daisy is the one I like)
1/4 cup of Buttermilk (not the low fat kind)
1 t. garlic powder ( do not use garlic salt)
1t. onion powder
1t. sea salt
Add just a pinch of cilantro
1t. dried parley
Put everything into the blender
and blend until smooth.
I have a hand blender for this because
you can do it in a tall glass or quart container.
I like things that are easy clean up.
I make this up to serve with chips, fries,
veggies, crackers.
I like this with fried fish much better,
than tartar sauce.

Try this..I made this dip with vegs for my wedding..
Dill Dip
1 cup sour cream
1 cup hellmanns mayonnaise
2 teaspoons seasoning salt
2 tablespoons minced onion flakes
2-3 teaspoons dill weed
2 tablespoons parsley flakes
Mix ingredients together, until well blended.
Chill several hours or overnight.
Serve with chips or raw vegetables.
NOTE: I am a mixer and taster cook – I mix and taste – sometimes I add more seasonings to fit my taste.
The longer it sits- the better it gets!

Microwave cream cheese in serving dish for 30 seconds.

In a medium bowl mix entire jar of Maries dressing, chopped chicken breast, 1/4 cup of hot sauce.
Pour mixture over the cream cheese.
Put the shredded cheddar cheese on top of mixture.
Cover with aluminum foil.

try this... Beer-Cheese Dip
1 package cream cheese
Shredded Cheddar cheese
Beer
1 packet Hidden valley ranch seasoning
mix together until creamy
Sorry I don't have exact measurements. I know this recipe sounds weird, but it is so yummy, especially with crackers. Just make sure kids don't eat it :)!!
P.S. I've tried Jeff's recipe for the onion dip and it is sooo good!
