We see a surge of millions of illegal Mexican immigrants (latinos in general) in America in recent years, there's also well established legal Mexicans, such as business owners or news reporters.

What do they think of each other?

I always think they support and like each other, but this may be a misconception

-Do legals strongly oppose illegals (because illegals broke laws, or because they create a big anti-latino backlash) and want them to return to Mexico?
-Or are (voting) legals compasionnate for their brothers and would vote for such a thing like Amnesty if asked, or march with them during these may day marches?

NOTE: I'd prefer if legals Mexicans or legal latinos answer this for a more genuine and unbiased answer

Right now I have this interesting response from Richfrag who is MA.
Richfrag may I ask you do most MA around you like or dislike?
Anyone else can provide data?
I'll extend this one 6 days, I'm eager to know. I will also search polls and surveys but it would be cooler if MA's answer me directly (get rid of the middle man...)

I'm a Mexican American, born and raised here in America. I'm one of the few. who's against illegal aliens. for the fact that some come in not only illegally also they have violated our laws. My great grandmother came here legally. she wanted a better life for her and her family. lot of Mexicans dislike me for that fact.
most i know don't care much. for me and my family we disagree with illegals. they give us a bad name. make us look bad. everyone classify us as all the same. it doesn't matter to them if your legal, illegal or born here. I'm proud of my culture and heritage, don't get me wrong. And proud of my family. I'm a Mexican born here. but those born in Mexico don't see that. they see me as American. they don't understand i can be both.

A person's race tells me nothing about what they believe, or where their loyalties lie. The fact that a person is in the country illegally, however, tells me that they do not respect our country or its laws. So I have issues with illegal immigrants because of the choices they have made, not any race because of their genes. I also am very concerned about this split between racial and ethnic lines. The issue should not be white against Hispanic, or black, or anyone else. We should all be AMERICANS. I know some believe that the Southwest was "stolen" from Hispanics by whites. this is not true. the war in 1848 was fought over many issues and policies, and many Hispanics and whites fought against mexico. If we are going to view everything in terms of race, then this republic will falter. I am proud, and grateful, to be an AMERICAN. (I also honor my ancestors and their heritage - basically on one or two holidays.) And I welcome others who feel the same. Color or race should not matter. Good question!

Most americans dislike illegals as well as legal mexicans.....for good reason. Most mexicans are liberal freeloaders that could careless about laws. They need to grow a pair and fight for mexico where they belong.

I was born and raised here legally. I'm not mexican. PERIOD.
I'm white. IF I were, then yes I would hate illegal mexicans. It means I worked my butt of for what I have and now a thief is taking what I worked so hard for.
I feel for those in need, but I donot appreciate the disrect and hate that I recieve just from being a legal citizen,(of mexican, african, chinese, white, or other decent) of this country.
As a citizen of this country I am an AMERICAN, not mexican, chinese, african, texan, hawaiian, canadian, or anything.
AMERICAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

depends on the people today there is a lot of legal Mexicans with illegal parents who dont like other illegal Mexicans.
and some who are legal and still support illegal immigrants i think it depends on how people think we all think differently. so i don't think there is a solid answer to this question.

As far as I can tell it is half and half with the legal Mexicans, half are sympathetic to illegals and half are opposed to illegals.

This is just going by the Mexican-American voting records, so the ones that haven't voted aren't being counted.

Yes they do. Simply because the Legal ones went to the whole process and pay taxes, while the others come illegaly and enjoy government benefits without paying taxes. And The illegals give every latino in this country a bad reputation.

my best friend is mexican and he is legal.. he is pissed that people are jumping the boarder.. he thinks it gives his people a bad name.. he and i both think that the US goverment should use force on the boarder... (call me evil.. idc) we both think that we should shoot anyone that jumps the boarder.. and while doing that we should capture all illegals and ship them back to their country and let them do it again.. we both decided that would be the most effective motive..
