Where did the term "going pee" come from?

According to The Macquarie Dictionary and Cassell's Dictionary of Slang, pee was originally a euphemistic pronunciation of the first letter of the word "p*ss." It started being used sometime during the 20th century.

Maybe someone really needed to pee so they made sounds and one of the sounds sounded like a new word to be made.

it sounds like pee when you pee lol and its just like another word like alot of words like thats the term but people say peeing because its easier and its not the scientific term or whatever idk!! lol

well the noise it makes is psssssssssssssssss so that became "piss" which became 'p'-ing (for the tuck-up types, i guess...) which is pronounced "peeing"

don't know but it better for kid when they are young. It's easier to say it when your are 2 years old.
