Svp is an abbreviation of Si il vous plait or s'il vous plait
(if it please you...) and it's pronounce: seal-vu (u pronounce as the ou in you)- play (the ay is more pronounce like the "e" in red)
Hope it help

(Actually, the phrase should be "s’il vous plaît" with the circonflex accent on the i.)

If you want to pronounce the initals "svp" it should be
"ess vay pay". The full phrase would be, as stated above, "seel voo play".

"s'il vous plais" is literally "if you please" but it is how the French say "please". The "l" in "s'il" is silent so the pronunciation is close to "see voo play" although the final vowel is not the diphthong 'ei' but the vowel 'e'.
