Can you suggest a type of flower that would decorate a grand party? It's just detail research for a story I am writing.

Hydrangeas. They are large, flowing blooms of muted greens, whites, pinks, lavenders, or blues. They are usually considered extravagant.

Calla lillies. They are grand by their tall size that demand your attention. And very classic. They also come in all colors.
