Not at all.
I think they put that in there to make the people reading it believe that those who don't follow their beliefs are miserable.

Well, I am not totally an atheist, but rather a believer in the fact that there is natural order which is (attempted to be) explained by science. You see god never wrote the new testament, so the opinions conveyed therein (no matter how many aeons the have existed for) are naturally influenced by some bias. I feel no emptiness for my beliefs, as when there is nothing missing in the first place it would be illogical for any emptiness to incurr.
Let me put it logically. How can you be mad about never having something that doesn't exist.

I'm not an atheist, neither am I a Christian. I certainly don't feel empty. The "fruits" which are mentioned in the Bible as reserved for Christians seem to be in full evidence in my life as well.

One feels empty when one is incomplete.
What could possibly be missing when your life is your highest value, your mind is the best tool you have for understanding reality and for making sense of the world?
Rationality is the highest virtue man can have, because without it no other virtue can exist. You can't be benevolent and irrational; you can't be productive and irrational; you can't love anybody irrationally; you can't seek goodness and avoid evil being irrational; you can't know anything and be irrational; you can't be just or moral and at the same time be irrational; but most of all, you cannot be happy if you are irrational.
When faith substitutes reason, one is definitely irrational, and when one is irrational one seeks help from above, from below and from every which way one can get it. One cannot be the master of oneself by following whoever comes along and says that he can think for him and offer answers without effort. Faith is the feeling that pretends that we know; faith is the feeling that makes us pretend about everything that is important.

No I don't feel empty, and if I did I think I would have to find something more useful than Religion to fill it. The good news about Religion is that it's like a buffet, all you can eat. The bad news about Religion is that it's all SH!T.

I don't understand what you mean by emptiness. My body is full of bones, vains, organs and such. So, physically, I don't feel empty. I don't have a spiritual side, so I don't 'feel' spiritually empty either. Emotionally I'm pretty fulfilled, and I know I'm fulfilled sexually. So no. Definitely no emptiness here.

Quite the opposite.
As I do not waste my life on fantasies, i use it to fulfill my life and those of my family, friends and colleagues. Never a dull moment. PLUS, with a little patience, it will soon be so FULL quite soon that I'm not sure that there will be enough hours in the day.
A weak assertion by the deluded to make them feel better ...

No, this atheist is quite fulfilled, knowing there is always more to learn, more to discover, more people to meet and having a great family.
At no point have I ever felt empty (except when that chick Alice dumped me but I got over it).

Quite the opposite, imaging waking up from a dream and see the world for how it really is. Once you understand that the universe and life is meaningless, you understand how fragile and important this one life we live is.
