The easiest for me was to answer questions other students have on goeduko.org. It is an easy and simple site that provides 10 mins of volunteering hours per answer given. It is also super convenient since I do not have a lot of time to go to volunteering sites and can do my hours in small chunks.

Easily! You can work at a library, and I'm not sure how that other girl only made 20 hourse a summer, but you can make 20 hours aweek if you stay for a little while! Or easily going twice a week and making 10. Not hard at all! Or senior center near your house, school projects. You'r school might hold a soup kitchen, so you can ask them. You can volunteerw ith local organizations, ASPCA, FFA, 4-H, or anything like that!

I volunteer at a local elementary school after school tutoring kids whose parents don't speak English. I've also volunteered at Mana organizing food. Look around your community, it's a lot easier finding volunteer work than paying work.

A very easy way to volunteer is to contact The Pencil Project.

Visit their website at www.thepencilproject.com

You and your friends can hold a "pencil drive" (super easy) and send the pencils to children in need who are often using sticks to write in the sand. You will make a HUGE difference and it's easy!!!

Saturdays mostly, alot of Hospitals have programs for you on weekends, stop by your local hospital and see. You could also check out your local va hospital if you have one, our vets need your support. You might check with your local Veterans Groups like Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) or Disabled American Veterans Rep, they might know some disabled vets who could use a helping hand, Our freedoms are very important and our vets have supplied them, Good luck to you and Best wishes!!!

ask your guidance councilor for ideas. Not knowing what you are interested in giving a list wouldn't give you the answer you would like to hear. Think about where your interests lie and then find something that relates to that. If you are only going through the motions to get the hours it won't be nearly as rewarding or fun as it could be if you find something that you like doing as well.
