Here is more info according to an article written specifically about Panda Express:
Panda Express has a wide variety of options, and since none of its food has MSG, you can most certainly eat healthy at Panda Express. Keep reading to find out tips on how to do so more easily.

Step One
Choose the right side dish. Panda Express dishes come with either fried rice, steamed rice or chow mein. Steamed rice is healthiest. It has 380 calories per serving and only 2.5 grams of fat. Fried rice has 14 grams of fat per serving.

Step Two
Eat your vegetables. A serving of mixed vegetables adds only 70 calories to your meal, and will help you feel fuller faster. So load up on the veggies.

Step Three
Skip the pork and orange chicken. The majority of dishes at Panda Express are between 150 and 250 calories per serving, except for the pork dishes. They come in at almost 400 calories. The orange chicken is the worst of the lot, with 500 calories and 27 grams of fat.

Step Four
Choose mushroom chicken. It's the lowest-calorie dish on the menu, weighing in at only 130 calories per serving with 6 grams of fat.

Step Five
Have a spring roll. If you must have an add-on item, choose the veggie spring roll, which has only 80 calories and 3.5 grams of fat. The chicken egg roll has 170 calories and 8 grams of fat.

Step Six
Go easy on the sauce. Sweet and sour sauce can add 80 calories for just a 1.5-ounce serving. So, use it sparingly.
Tips & Warnings

* Most restaurants have nutritional information available to its patrons, so make sure to ask for a copy when eating out.
* The calorie counts reported by each establishment are estimates, and may vary by location or portion size.
* Panda Express cooks all its dishes in chicken stock, not vegetable stock, so none of its entrées are vegetarian friendly.

Hope this helps!

Panda Express Nutritional Information

It's not necessarily unhealthy, part of the problem with a lot of restaurants is the serving sizes. When you have a huge bloated portion that could feed three people and you eat it all by yourself, there could be 1500-2000 calories in just that one meal.

I don't think it's unhealthy at all to eat here once in awhile, but every day? I'd think twice. See link for panda express menu nutrition info.

It is not as healthy as the original Chinese stir-fry cooking.
They use too much oil, vegetables are over-cooked.
Food is kept hot in steam tables, not served fresh.
Dishes are heavy on rice, & probably high in MSG.
Protein content is minimal.
