hes always going to one side of my basement [its not like a creepy old storage basement i live in a basement home so theres bedrooms a bathroom couches tv its cozy] and always meows for someone when he goes over there

he sits and kinda looks over at the wall and the ceiling and loows back at us and meows

hes been doing this for a little while and ive been ignoring it

on that side of the basement he always sits in front of an open storage box full of home videos tapes and pictures
hes doing it right now as i'm typing

so earlier i put him in the box to see if thats what he wanted and when i took him out he was purring

could this mean something spiritual or what....?

My 3 year old cat does this ALL the time.. I've lived in 2 different apartment buildings since I've had him and he's always done it. He'll stare up at the wall and ceiling, look back at me, meow, and eventually jump at the wall as if he's attacking something.
It's nothing supernatural, it's true that cat's love attention, but when they act goofy like this it means that they have a lot of pent up energy in them and let it out in bursts at a time. (Was curious about my cat's behavior thus I looked this up).
So.. nothing to worry about just enjoy your furry friend and feel free to laugh at his silly behaviors.

it could be or it could be he wants your attention. i have 2 cats and they can be wired alot to, just like yours but then after i play with him he wont go back for a couple of days then he will do that again. i hoped that helped you a little.

its quiet possible that it is supernatural animals expessly dogs and cats can since spirits. if you cats purring then its probably a good spirit and you shouldn't worry about. but if your really concerned about this call a pharanormal expert.

He may have noticed a mouse or mouse evidence and wants you to move the wall so he can get to it.
