I want to add some extra horsepower and torque to my jeep, but can't see which one would add more power. I like that the intake adds 13 extra horsepower, but I like the sound and think the exhaust will add a pretty good amount of power too.
*The exhaust is single and side swept

I added a AEM intake first then later added the Banks exhaust. The intake helps a lot,but I have the straight 6 and the intake has a throttle body spacer. If I could pf only added one of them it would be the intake,it did seem to make the biggest difference.

Do not for a minute think 13 hp just for a pipe and cone air filter. Won't happen however the Gibson exhaust will make a smooth sound you will like do that first. Then after you install the Intake find a DYNOMETER Tuning specialist they can extract some horse power most with a money back guarantee. That way you can brag and have DYNO print out to back up the story.

By definition you have to put both of them.
If you beef up your whole top end, the weak link is you motor's bottom end. To compliment the increase in intake flow, the exhaust flow should be increased. A set of headers would be a good choice. Just be sure they have a "bung" for you to screw in an Oxygen sensor. A high flow catalytic converter, and a cat back exhaust system, round out the package.
