I am going on a trip to Italy soon, and I want to take a lot of pictures. However, my old camera does not work well, so I need to buy a new one. These are some that I am considering:

If you have ever had any experience with any of these cameras or have heard anything about them at all, I would appreciate it if you could let me know! Also, which do you think would be the best choice? Or is there a better camera? My preferable price range is about $300. Thanks for your time!!

If it were my choice, I would personally go for the Canon SD750. Here are a few reasons why and how I arrived at this conclusion...
1) Memory cards- The Olympus and Fuji use xD memory cards, which are only used by those two companies. Because of this, xD cards not as fast or as widely available as the SD memory cards that are used in the Canon and Casio. As a result, you will likely have to buy another memory card when you buy another camera further down the road. Overall, I would eliminate the Olympus and Fuji based on that fact.
2) More video options- the Canon can record at several different video settings in terms of resolution and frames per second (fps), including a 60fps setting at the 320x240 resolution setting. This way, you can choose video settings that use less memory if you don't have much left or bump it up for more special videos.
3) LCD- The Canon offers a 3" LCD, larger than any of the other 3 cameras. When compared against the Casio, the Canon is a clear winner. The Canon has a 3" LCD with 230,000 pixels versus the Casio's 2.6" with 115,000 pixels. The Canon's LCD will be much sharper and better overall than the Casio due to a higher density of pixels on the LCD.
I noticed that your links are to Best Buy's website. Are you bound to buying from Best Buy, or would you be able to wait for an internet order to ship? If you can, I have a suggestion for you that I think would be a great deal for you. Link 1 is to a package deal offered by a reputable online camera dealer. It includes the Canon camera, 2 x 1GB memory cards (good for probably close to 300 images at full resolution), and a carrying pouch made for the camera. It retails for about $275, so with shipping you'll pay about $285-290, within your budget. I think this would be ideal for you and your trip. This package is available through Link 1.

Try www.dpreview.com to compare cameras, features, and read reviews. I would eliminate the Casio from consideration.
