Is Jesus really the Son of God?

I can't really find a reference in the Bible

Jesus was the only begotten Son of the Living God.

John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth."

John 6:38 "For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me. 39 And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day."

John 6:51 " I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world."

Ok .. In Chirsianity they say it is .. In Islam it is known that god is the creator of the universe, he was not born and does not breed so it is not possible for Jesus to be his son . Jesus was a messenger before the prophet mohammed sent to convert all the jews to christians , the jews rebelled and placed jesus on a cross and crusified him . God Took his soul so that he would'nt suffer and placed the soul of another man in discuise as jesus .

Years Later , God sent the prophet mohammed to convert all christians and jews together to islam and to this day islam is the fastest growing religion on earth .

I know that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that He was crucified for the sins of the world.

There are references in the Bible, but It is much more powerful when God shows you personally that Jesus Christ is His Son...Pray and ask God if He was!
