I definately like the blue idea. like a medium blue since you don't like pastels. Then perhaps the flowers they carry could be several different colors, very bright colors.

This is really a personal choice that is up to you. Just because you are getting married in the Summer does not mean you have to limit yourself to specific colors.
Take your bridesmaids to a bridal store and have them try on different colors and styles and then choose what you like best! Or choose your favorite color and a complimentary color.
Good luck!

Multicolor summerdresses in pastel color if you were opting for something different.
What is your favorite color? Or have you chosen a color scheme already anyway? Look for a color that is close to your favorite color in the color chart, yet could be regarded as a typical summer color (some warm color or cool like a summer breeze).

A thumb down doesn´t ruin my day. Just to mention that a blond woman with pale skin might really look her best in a dress with not a too strong colour. Makes them look even paler to wear something dark.

I am getting married at the end of May and we are using a Cornflower-ish color for our bridesmaid dresses. The dresses are from B2 in Sky Blue (the color they have listed as cornflower is more like drab rain cloud). They are wearing silver shoes (something they can wear again) and will be carrying yellow flowers.
Good luck!

I really like blacks or champagnes with hints of color.
I really think pink or peach is great for summer. But, I find a solid color pink dress is often too bold and not flattering on every bridesmaids.
I really like black tea length dress w/ colored sashes.
Personally, I really like black tea length dresses w/ pink sashes and a bouquet of bright pink flowers/roses.
The color against the black actually makes the color stand out more and appear classic. As opposed to 5 bridesmaid's all in one color and all you see is a sea of pink.
I also enjoy black dresses with aqua (tiffany blue sashes)
Also, brown and robins egg blue are nice june colors

Im blonde & pale aswell and Im in love with really bright coral at the moment. It looks great with blonde hair, its bright and fun and girly without being pink.
And if they decide to get a tan before the big day it'll look even better.
I would recommend avoiding yellow as it can make blonde hair look brassy but it depends on the type of yellow and the type of blonde.

Summer colors can be anything really. Blues, purples, pinks, greens. Have you decided upon a color scheme for your wedding? Or a bouquet that you'd like to carry?
If anything... take a peek at these websites...

My friend did bright pink with yellow and orange flowers this past June. Being one of the bridesmaids, I was a little worried, but it turned out GORGEOUS.

I'm going with David's Bridal's Cornflower blue shade. It's very fresh and summery...and for our flowers we're going with pink roses, dahlias, eucalyptus berries and pink mini callas. Lots of colors go with blue...just not too red or too orange.
