I ask because I've noticed that the first 4 commandments are all about him. Is he worried about other Gods?

He has no need to worry because He is the only God. And you need to respect that fact.

He is like a fisherman catching fish with a net & keeping the good ones & letting the others go their own way. And at the end the water & everything in it falls into a bottomless pit forever & ever to all eternity. Meditate on that for a while, end of story!!!!!!!!!!!

I doubt he is worried, I think the people that worship a false God need to worry

Yeah.....well he had to make it clear to all those pagan worshipers that they needed to heed what he was saying. As for cornering the human market....I think he has that covered....he is the Creator of All.

He's worried that some humans will fall (again) to Satan's lies and worship false gods. (one of which is 'self')
He wants us to do what is best for us - and so He instructs us in what is truth.
