I never had like "cowlicks" before until I started straightening my hair... o_o It's where my bangs are at??? Or atleast someone told me that it's a "cowlick" Before I straightened my hair. My bangs are like perfect. I just wanted it to be straighter - straight like straight straight because you know how the longer your hair is, the "less straightened" it get's? D: Anyone know how to fix this problem? Or what's wrong with my bangs now?

You Can't Get Rid Of A Cowlick - Or Can You?
Depending on where it is located, your cowlick can be easy or difficult to deal with. Luckily the hair care industry has provided some techniques for dealing with cowlicks in the 2000s.
Famous movie stars and celebrities have secretly resorted to hair waxing electrolysis or plastic surgery when their cowlicks caused them too much trouble or threatened their images.
There are options for permanent removal of cowlicks. If you are definitely hell bent on permanently altering or eliminating your cowlick, you can try hair waxing, electrolysis, or plastic surgery.
Will these drastic measures work? There are many documented cases where waxing, electrolysis and surgical techniques have successfully managed the hair line in such a way as to effectively control heinous hair patterns.
While hair waxing is never permanent, repeated waxing may soften the hair significantly so that the cowlick is easier to style. Electrolysis may or may not be permanent. Some of the hair from the cowlick may grow back over time and required additional electrolysis treatments.
Plastic surgery is the riskiest venture of the three mentioned, but also the most guaranteed in terms of permanent changes to the hairline and the cowlick.
There are other drawbacks to all three of these options. Although waxing, electrolysis and/or plastic surgery might successfully work keep in mind that the costs may be high, you may have to go for several visits and it may be somewhat painful.
In some cases, all or part of the dreaded cowlick may return.
A Good Stylist Can Help You Tame The Wild Hairs
If waxing, electrolysis or surgery doesn't appeal to you. There are still several other options you can consider.
If your cowlick is well placed on your head all that is you may need is a good haircut to work with the direction of the hair or add weight from hair above to hold the cowlick down.
A great stylist can custom design a haircut that can camouflage your cowlick by working it into your overall style and look.
Thick, wavy and curly hair can be managed with well placed short layers that incorporate the cowlick or other unruly sections into the overall style.
Some chemical treatments such as perms or relaxing treatments will also help tame cowlicks.

In the cowlick area, if you keep the hair too short then it doesn't have enough weight on itself to lay flat, which then allows the cowlick to show it's shape even more. Being a hairdresser myself, the only solution I can ever find is leaving a little more length in the cowlick area because that conceals it. However, if you have a cowlick in the bang area, I recommend that every night before you go to bed, wet your hair in that area and pin it in the direction where you would like to style it. Leave it over night, and the next morning the cowlick will be tamed and less resistant. Good luck!

Cowlicks are pieces of hair that want to stick up, like a cow had licked the top of your head. There is no way to fix them except by plastering them down or changing hair style to include them. I don't think that is your problem.
They usually occur at the center back of the head where the hair often is in a swirl pattern, although they also occur where a part might be located.

You cant get rid of them. that's just the way your hair grows out of those particular hair follicles. but if you didn't have them before...I dont know. I dont think you just suddenly develop them.
EDIT : No, straigtening your hair can't give you cowlicks. You either got 'em or you don't. However, if you straighten your hair all the time, you may forget what kinks you have in your hair and be surprised when they reappear.

You can... you are born with cowlicks ( it is a naturally currly spot in your hair ) GET YOUR BANGS WET. TAKE THE BLOW DRYER AND GET IT REAL CLOSE TO THE HAIR AND BLOW THEM DOWN LIKE INTO YOUR EYES WITH THE BLOW DRYER ONLY AN INCH OR SO AWAY FROM YOUR SCALP KEEP IT MOVING BACK AND FORTH SO YOU DON'T BURN YOURSELF. TRY IT, IT WORKS FOR ME AND I HAVE A BAD COWLICK ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF MY BANGS.
