Johnsonville and I am sure others offer breakfast turkey sausage, italian turkey sausage basically all varieties of sausage both ground and links make from turkey. Check your local grocery store, I am sure they would have it, or at least could order it for you.

Pork isn't bad for you so long as you aren't abusing the intake. Just like anything else, don't abuse it. Eat it lean. Remove the outter fat (we in the meat dept call that fat white meat anyway LOL). Pork sausage, 3 times a week isn't going to kill you. If you have medical problems then use Turkey Sausage, Turkey patties, or mix turkey with a bit of ground lean beef,or veal, and add your own spices. The pork now is leaner than turkey, hence the slogan, "The other white meat"..

I don't know who told you that pork is really bad for you? Like anything else, when eaten in proper dietary guidelines it is quite fine, it's the 'other' white meat. You say you already know how to make your own sausage at home, so I'm wondering if your family is the outdoor (hunting) type? Deer, moose, & elk all make delicious sausage, & I just ask for some fat renderings from my local meat counter. Have you tried beef sausage? With less fat while your making it, it's quite alright. These are the only I have tried. I don't know how fowl would work?

With a little innovation you can eliminate the pan too.
Pork is disgusting. It is fattening. It can cause problems if not cookled properly. I love it.
There is sausage made by butchers without pork. they use turkey and chicken. I hear it is good.
Gived it a try. On the farm we got pork fresh, and especially the liverwurst was so great.

whoever said pork is bad for you is a moron.
pork is fine you jsut cant eat it raw unless you want to get trichenosis or ring worm.
pork isnt unhealty its actually quite healthy. bacon is fatty and that is why people say pork is bad but porkchops and ham are actually considered lean meat.
so eat all the ******* pork you want and tell whoever said its unhealthy to go jump off a bridge and before they do that they should actually try that abomonation called turkey bacon.

I believe you can substitute ground turkey for the ground pork - use the same spices. This will likely be a little drier - you may want to mix a little 'gravy' in the ground turkey to keep it moist when it cooks.

There is also turkey sausage available at your local grocery store. It comes in patties or links, seasoned already. Jennie-O is the brand that I buy.

Why on earth is pork bad for you? Just like any meat - choose a lean cut. And like all "white" meat make sure it is cooked through - running clear juices not all dried out and chewy but not underdone.

until or unless you have high cholesterol
buy the pork kind and eat it, limit how much maybe
I don't want to get old
20 more years of bacon and beer, then I can jump
better than 20 years of no bacon and no beer , and jumping in 10 years or so

You can make sausage out of chicken or turkey. You can even make your own vegetarian sausage.
