No. The Mexicans and the Punjabi community pretty much ignored each other when I was in California. They had no need to mix. Each community was entirely self sufficient.

Absolutely not! We live in a suburb in the south end of Ottawa. We have many Lebanese, Saudis and other Arab families and they are excellent community citizens.
They don't drink or have loud parties and they don't race in the streets at all hours. While there is a language barrier for some, there are many opportunities to learn their language. I have always considered language to be a "tool of mass construction" and they truly appreciate the effort we put into making them feel welcome.
The people in this neighbourhood tend to be quiet and friendly for which we are all eminently grateful. They are just as concerned about the troubles of the world as anyone else is. This is a great place to live!

I doubt they had to any extent further undemanding than did different than there being no allotment from diverse international locations

Yes. All the immigrant groups don't seem to be able to get along with the true residents here--Native Americans.

I choose to live in an area where they do not have gangs/groups.
It is still a new area and in a wealtheir area. I pay alot more in taxes/mortgage but it is well worth it to know I won't be jumped around my home.
