I've got one of those. If you even try to pet her she will bite you.
Get the carrier ready (have the door already open) in another room, and then find the cat and scoop him up in a bath towel. You don't need to cover his head, just the body and legs. Move smoothly into the room where the carrier is, and pop the cat right in, then remove the towel. You'll have the door shut before he can get himself turned around.

My mum had a chinchilla whose hair did the same thing.
I got my cat used to a pet carrier by leaving it on the floor and occassionally putting food in it so she got used to it. She whines in the car but if you turn the music up itss not so distressing!
I'm not sure about every vet but some will actually put the cat to sleep (very safely) to shave its hair. I recommend getting it cut very short around the body area - leaving the head and tail kinda like a poodle - it'll only grow back and mat up again. Only way to avoid matting is to brush them about twice or 3 times a day!!
Oh and I hope ur cat isn't possesed by the devil like in pet cemetery cause then u've got no hope!

Transport your cat in a carrier. (plastic or wire not one of the cardboard kind) I would recommend taking your cat to the vet to have the mats removed. They can sedate her if necessary to prevent injury to your cat and who ever is trying to groom her. Just make sure where ever you take her you tell them she is aggressive so they can be prepared in advance.

I often wonder how they handle animals that don't like to be handled! They're professionals though, and I'm sure they've had to handle many animals like yours.
You can try putting your cat in a carrier and transporting it that way.
Good luck on getting your cat groomed.

Vet.
Find a vet that does grooming, have your cat sedated, shaved completely, and then returned to you. It's the safest option for everybody.

Ask your people & kinfolk to ask around for you. somebody you be attentive to could be attentive to somebody else who will groom the cat for loose. All it takes is on your cat to "click" with the groomer; of direction it relatively is excellent on your groomer to be experienced, although. i replaced into as quickly as one among those groomer (green!). I went with my boyfriend to a BBQ, and the only soul who in the present day clicked with me replaced right into a candy little 18 year old cat who replaced into pitifully knotted and disheveled. I spent the greater advantageous area of three and a nil.5 hours with this sweetie on my lap, alternately pulling, combing and reducing (with scissors) the knots out of her fur. I then bathed her interior the sink. while i replaced into completed, her (undesirable) proprietors did no longer even comprehend her, as she recognized like a thoroughly diverse cat, and she or he replaced right into a lot happier. seems that i replaced into the only human in 18 years who replaced into ever waiting to *touch* the cat, much less, to %. her up and tug at her coat for 3.5 hours previously immersing her in water!! She basically depended on me, and that i think of that believe ought to be the biggest subject. %. somebody your cat feels risk-free with. sturdy luck.
