Plz tell me and tell me why

we are making a small cardboard boat at school, it has to support weight of a lead block.

If the test only lasts a fews minutes, any cardboard will do. You can pour wax over any paper material and that will make it last longer. You can spray a waterproof glue over any paper material and it will hold water. So really, it depends upon the weight of the lead block. 1 lb. or 100?

But the milk carton idea was pretty good. Pour out the milk first...

Milk carton paperboard.
It's waterproof, (Duh!).
