I enjoyed it, but I do not think it will happen like that. There might be similarities in some small ways but the Bible promises that no one knows what the end days will be like aside from bad.

I have read all of the books except for the last two. I found them very interesting. I do believe that there is some truth to them. I could really see things happening close to what was written. I am glad that I won't be around to see it though. I believe that that will be the worst that this world will ever go through. And we think that things are bad now.

there is not any point out of the know-how "Trinity," the two, yet tens of millions nonetheless have self assurance that it is genuine..all faith is approximately faith. to respond to the question, sure, i think that the rapture will take place previously the tribulation. in case you reference the Bible, God has on no account allowed people who incredibly save on with Him to be harm (Noah, Daniel, Lot, and so on). Why might he start up with the tribulation? i be attentive to it is circumstantial data at superb, regardless of the incontrovertible fact that it relatively is my opinion. additionally, interestingly that the series is quite consistent with the Bible....the only ingredient i'm going to assert is this: concern isn't something that attracts people to something for a substantial quantity of time. i does not supply it to a non-Christian and tell them to envision it in hopes of fixing them. people recover from concern, at last. wish that enables!

No, according to scripture, NOTHING will be "left behind."

2Peter 3:7 BY GOD’S WORD THE HEAVENS AND EARTH OF TODAY ARE BEING RESERVED FOR FIRE. They are being kept for the day when God will judge. Then ungodly people will be destroyed.
8 Dear friends, here is one thing you must not forget. With the Lord a day is like a thousand years. And a thousand years are like a day.
9 The Lord is not slow to keep his promise. He is not slow in the way some people understand it. He is patient with you. He doesn’t want anyone to be destroyed. Instead, he wants all people to turn away from their sins.
10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. THE HEAVENS WILL DISAPPEAR WITH A ROAR. FIRE WILL DESTROY EVERYTHING IN THEM. God will judge the earth and everything in it.
11 So EVERYTHING WILL BE DESTROYED. And what kind of people should you be? You should lead holy and godly lives.
12 Live like that as you look forward to the day of God. It will make the day come more quickly. ON THAT DAY FIRE WILL DESTROY THE HEAVENS. ITS HEAT WILL MELT EVERYTHING IN THEM.

... During his "trial," Jesus plainly told Pilate that his kingdom was not earth based. (John 18:36 Jesus answered, “My Kingdom is not an earthly kingdom. If it were, my followers would fight to keep me from being handed over to the Jewish leaders. But my Kingdom is not of this world.”) We know that the kingdom CAME during the first century. Its coming is not a still future event. (Mark 9:1 Jesus went on to say, “I tell you the truth, some standing here right now will not die before they see the Kingdom of God arrive in great power!”) The territory of Jesus' kingdom is not land, but lives. He reigns in the hearts of those who allow that reign... His church.

It makes perfect sense of these to conclude that the 1000 year reign John describes in Revelation is figurative. In that case, it describes the age in which we now live. JESUS IS REIGNING IN HIS CHURCH. The peace John describes of the millennial reign is not earthly peace, but what they have through allowing him to rule in their lives...

Revelation begins and ends (1:1 and 22:6) with statements about the time frame in which the described events would take place. The same Greek phrase is used in both passages as in Acts 12:7 where an angel told Peter it was time to leave... Acts 12:7 "Suddenly an angel of the Lord appeared and a light shone in the cell. He struck Peter on the side and woke him up. “QUICK!, Get up!” he said, and the chains fell off Peter’s wrists." The book was written to tell THOSE Christians who were suffering persecution that Jesus would SOON act to rescue THEM. Its "We Win!" message was directed to them in their immediate future, not the countless generations since who have ALL felt that Jesus' return was imminent. The figurative descriptions of earthly events: seals, bowls, ... were all fulfilled in that generation.

Like the first poster, it is good entertainment (I've read 3 so far, been too busy to finish my neighbor's other books, but will eventually) but I'm not sure if I believe in all that stuff about the Rapture, let alone do I enjoy the idea. (Y'all may have seen my rage in the other posting lol)

Read some of the books, then I found the truth. There will be no pre-tribulation rapture, no 7 year tribulation, no single person described as Anti-Christ, no rebuilt temple.
Other than that, they were OK:)

If you liked the Left Behind series, you might enjoy the companion series I'm working on called "Thank God They're Gone" about the great time the rest of us have after the Rapture clears out all the religious nuts.

I did.
And will it happen like the books were writen?
Im sure it wont exactly.
It never said how he would come to power
It never said how exactly he would bring the false peace
It never said exactly how he would die
It never said exactly how he would defie the temple(I dont think on that one anyway)

So some things are left to just wait and see.
