I'm not really afraid of them, I just feel sick to my stomach whenever I see one. Makes me want to throw up.

I'm not afraid of needles, I'm more concerned about being injected with something that might not agree with my body. I don't think I'd want a needle in my back either (ie an epidural or spinal or any type of block). I have no trouble with blood draws as long as the tech is good at what they do. Ones who are not proficient have sometimes had trouble getting blood out of me. =) I don't give up easily for vampires.

Yes and No, I'm not afraid of the flu shot needles, but I am afraid of cactus needles, and afraid of being stung by a bee, and I am afraid of stepping on a tack when I'm walking around barefoot around my house.If I were to walk in barefoot at Easter Seal's Office I would be afraid more if I stepped on a tack with bare feet.

I hate them. As a child I was terrified of them. Now that I get a shot every three months for the past 7 years, i've come to terms with them. I can ignore them and not look at the needle sticking out of me and I'm fine. IV's on the other hand make me VERY nervous!

I feel the same as you, im not afraid of them and i have a strong stomach...but today i got blood drawn for my physical it those types of things make me sick.

No but my friend is...either have them put u to sleep or take a deep breath and get on with it...its just a needle and ppl. usually never feel it. u can do this just breathe and dont think about it!

Needles don't bother me. I have had so much blood drawn that it is normal for me to be stuck.

yes i extremely hate needles when ever i go to the doctor i scream if they try to give me a shot

It scares me more to see them used on other people. My daughter had to have blood drawn today and that was awful...She cried so much.

what kind don't you like- ones for blood drawing, or shots?
don't look at them ever!- it will help if you don't have a picture of it in your mind when you get one
talk to your doctor- he/she might have ideas of techniques for making yourself less anxious
