George W Bush states that the war in Iraq was a mission given to him by God. Is this true? I know God's a bit of a c#nt, but this really does take the Jammie Dodger.

No. God NEVER supports murder, esp. not murder for a family grudge and oil.

How would we know if God supports the war in Iraq? If George said It was a mission given to "HIM" by God than that's between "HIM" and God, It has nothing to do with Christians or anybody else for that matter. I couldn't tell you If it's true or not because I wasn't there for the conversation between George and God.

God isn't a bloodthirsty God. Mankind will constantly have wars so God makes use of this weak spot of ours to do His bidding. i think this war isn't approximately something different than lining up the countries to flow into the top situations.

You know this brings up an interesting fact. Christians believe in 'Thou shalt not Kill' but here is George Bush with all the backing from Jesus and the bible-thumping evangelicals, and what is happening over in Iraq? Murder. Killing for Jesus.
Is this not the absolute definition of hypocrisy?

The Heart of the King is in the Hand of the Lord and HE Turns it anyway so ever (What HE Wants).

Can't say "GOD told G.H" to take on that mission.
Can't say HE didn't!

But, I know this. GOD Almighty will Defend Israel (whether they Believe in HIM or Not!), later on, HE will defend it PERSONALLY!

Then, GOD watches over everbody Else (countries) that Let HIM.
(don't go kicking HIM outta' your Country now!)

All I can say, cause I'm Politically Illeterate (never could understand politic's)

GOD lets Israel "Reap what they have Sown" at Times, BUT Nobody will Ever "Take Israel Down for Good for Ever".
Period.

As mentioned earlier, God is against all modern warfare. God tells us through the bible that he will soon bring peace to the earth...Psalms 46:9 says 'He is making wars to cease to the extremity of the earth'. For this time people pray daily when they say..'Thy Kingdom come thy will be done in on Earth as it is in Heaven'.

do you think god would want war and so many people dead if he promotes birth, life and peace on earth. also do you think he wants that many people at one go to be sorted out into who goes to heaven and who goes to hell. well we wll know who should be where but thats not the point. war has nothing to do with god its people on earth trying to play god. not only that mr bush has the same second name as the **** hes been smokin. ha ha ha

God does not exist cause if he did there would be no war in Iraq. There would not be all the bad in the world. People say but he is testing us bla bla bla, its a load of old S**te really it is. if god was there he would not be so cruel.

This is me feeling low about everything today - sorry if I have offended everyone but if you asked me the same question tomorrow I would have a different answer

If God supports an American military victory in Iraq, he's got a funny way of showing it.

Who knows, ask him.

I think he gets kinda bored with how much people beat the crap out of each other, it's like watching a never ending bloody football game. And we're not even at half-time.

God said those who protect Israel will prosper and God will protect them.
God supported people in wars all throughout the Old Testament too.
In fact he said there is a time for war and a time for peace.

This my friends is a time for war.
