You can eat and drink whatever you want, just don't go overboard. Carry around some mouthwash with you so you can always rinse after eating and drinking. Also gargle water (as hot as you can handle) with salt (as much as you can tolerate) before you go to bed until it's fully healed.

Yes you can, I have mine pierced and the guy that did it told me not to drink alcohol just for a couple hours before or after i got it pierced. Also you aren't supposed to have beer or bread for a few days because i guess the yeast can actually give you a yeast infection in your tongue. Yuck!!! But yeah, you can drink wine!

I drank a beer while mine was healing. I liked the coldness of it against my tongue so wine shouldn't hurt

No, because it has alcohol, and you shouldn't drink that because it can slow down the healing process.
