Vet care: If they are of a breed that gets tails docked, and you want to dock them, take them to the vet when they are two days old. Otherwise when they are about one month take them in for a checkup and deworming. If any seem sick, are not nursing or gaining wieght, take them sooner.
Outdoors: They are very vunerable to infections and cold temperatures when newborn, so should not go outside at all (unless for necessary vet visit - put them in something so they don't touch the ground, wrap warmly if it is chilly out). They can start going out to your yard for housetraining only when about 2 months, but cannot go to any public places until they have finished all their shots (at 3 to 4 months)
Dog food: You can start offering them soft puppy food at about a month old. By six weeks they should be completely weaned (eating only solid food, no more nursing).

puppies don't even have their eyes and ears open until 2 weeks old. they should be wormed with meds from the vet at 2,4,6,and 8 weeks. Tehy can go in your yard if it's protected at about 10 weeks old if not it's best after they finish the 3 boster shot or about 12 weeks old if shots are done every 2 weeks. They should start weaning at 4 weeks old on very mudhy dry puppy food which is what the mother should be on for extra nourishment while raising the pups. You slowly make the food thicker and by 7 weeks they should be eating solid dry food.

Mom and pups should see the vet 48 hours after they are born. Then when they are 6 weeks old for their fist check up. Pups need to be wormed also. At your first vet visit with mom and pups have the vets give you wormer and follow his instructions as to when to worm and how much. Write it down!

Then bring just pups back in at 8 weeks old for their first shots before leaving you.

Outside should be only if it is warm at around 5 weeks old. Only in a your yard too no where else. You must watch them the entire time to make sure no harm comes to them and then only for about an hour ata atime. If it cold where you are than no outside at all.

If it is a breed that needs their tails docked, it is usually done at 3-5 days of age. Dewclaws are removed at the same time. Call your vet and ask when they want to see them.
