Having been to Afghanistan twice, I can assure you this. The people of Afghanistan asked Canada to help bring peace and stability to their country. Canada is assisting Afghans in rebuilding their war-ravaged nation and in creating a better future for themselves and their children.
You really notice a difference when you go there. At the beginning of your tour, first thing you think is, "Wow, this is a craphole!" But when it's time to leave, you look across the same landscape, and really feel that you have made a difference, and can see the positive change in the overall quality of life.
Now, you ask for reasons we should leave. I can't think of any legitimate excuse for leaving, other than Steven Harper doing it for more votes. The fact is, the Afghani people DO want us there.

The war in Afghanistan is to fight the terrorists in their homecourt so that they will not be able to sow violence in America.
