Ok, I use to live with my mom till I turned about 6-7 and my dad always paid her child support.
Then occasionally my mom would by me a shirt or something
when I would go wit her.
When I turned about 12 my mom moved to Arizona, I went to
her house every 3-4 months and she would spend about 200-300
dollars on me.

Now, she moved to Iowa and I'm 15 in High School since last year
and I can't visit her as often. I go to her house During Christmas, Spring Break, & Summer Vacation and she spends about $300
dollars on me.
Plus, She buys the tickets every time I go which is usually around
$200.
My Dad has to start paying my Ex StepMom child support about 600
every month for my 3 year old half sister and brother.
For my brother its only like $350!
I asked her if she could send me money since its been starting
to get cold, and she said she would send money when I come
for Christmas and I said but its already cold. Then she said
ok I'll send $200.
I dont think thats enough!

The court that decides who has custody will determine the amount of child support one parent is to pay the other for support of the child. If the court has awarded child support to your father on your behalf and your mother doesn't pay, then your father can pursue it within the legal system. In some states your mother could buy clothes and other necessities for you and, if she saves the receipts, she can use that as proof towards your support allocation. I doubt that travel fare for visits would count towards support in any state. You can't make your mother do anything, it's up to your father. Both of your parents are responsible for a share of your support regardless of how many children they may have with other partners or ex-spouses. They are just as responsible for them as they are for you. You're paying $50 for jeans? Where in the WORLD do you LIVE? You can get good, long lasting ones at Wal-Mart for about $15-$25!

You can't really "get" your mom to do nothing, your dad has to be the one to take her to court if she's being unfair..you should talk to both of your parents though and tell them how you feel, maybe she's only ordered to pay a certain amount. Or maybe your dad is using some of the money to help out with food and such. Also, maybe you can get like a part time job, that will help out will things you need and put some extra money in your pocket.

Good luck!

If your parents were divorced, there should have been a court order determining who was supposed to pay child support. If that's the case, I'd presume if you're living with your dad then it should be her who should be paying. If no order, then she should be paying anyway (since you're living with dad), and it's up to your him to see that it happens. If she doesn't, then your dad MUST see to it that you have everything you need. Regardless of whether dad is already paying support for two other kids, he still has an obligation to make sure that you're taken care of as well, and can't ignore you. Is there another adult you can talk to who will intervene on your behalf? Or is it possible for you to go live with your mom? I'm really sorry for the predicament you're in - no kid should have to go through this! I have 3 kids, one of them being a 16 y.o. girl, and I can't imagine her not having everything she needs!

this is an issue between your parents.. and if your father thinks he'd like child support for you, he needs to petition the court to attach your mother's wages to pay child support.

he needs to contact a good family law attorney or paralegal for more advice.

your dad would have to take her to court and get a court mandated amount of she doesn't agree to pay more. Ultimately it is up to your dad and her and if he wants it he needs to get it done through legal hearings if she doesn't volunteer
