Have you ever had this happen to you? You're young pretty, getting married or you have a beautiul new car or a really hot man and your mom get jealous because she didn't have what you have when she was your age. My mom beat the crap out of me when I was 22 because she was in a drunken rage and she was jealous that I had a hot boyfriend and a new convertable. anyone experience the Jealous mom syndrome

You poor girl. That's not okay. Mom needs to put the top back on the booze bottle first of all. Stay clear of her sweetie as much as possible. I have a daughter who's gorgeous and anything that happens good in her life, I'm ecstatic for her. Your mom needs a huge dose of self esteem! And anger management classes and regular visits to AA meetings. You, on the other hand, keep being pretty, dating hot guys, and driving that convertable!

if your mother has problems with alcohol, this is typical behavior of an alcoholic -- irrational, angry and sometimes violent.
tell your mom to sober up and you will talk with her. if she does, you will see a completely different person.
i hope she gets help.
