I'm curious, you can actually trace kinship with this person back to a set of great, great, great grandparents? That's impressive. It would be even more astonishing if you had been raised together as I would guess very few people even know a fourth cousin.

I do.Theres nothing wrong with it.Everyone is distantly related if you think about it.People only look down on it because they dont have any understanding, and rather than trying to understand it its easier to critisize.28% of American couples who are married are 2nd cousins.Rudi Julianis ex wife was his second cousin.Theres nothing wrong with it.People always assume only rednecks with no teeth do that but its not true,People just get scared about things they dont understand so they critisize people for it.Back in the 1940s it was more acceptable to date your cousin than it was for a white person to date a black person.Its not taboo.If its not your first or second cousin than its alright.

Fourth cousin is a pretty distant relationship; no problem with dating or marriage.

uhhh, it's legal and all, but wouldn't you rather go a little further out of the gene pool. I mean, yes, it is technically "okay" to date your fourth cousin, but it really just depends on your outlook on the situation.

no it is not ok ! That is still family blood down the line. and even if u got very close and had a kid (your kid not to sound rude )would come out diformed or something wrong. it is wrong to date ANY cousin!!!!!!!!

No it is not right it is still your blood. Think about it like this would you marry your parent(whoever is the aunt/uncle)cause it would be about the same they you all partially have the same blood running through you. So to put it blunty HELL NO.
