We have been together for a little over a two months and im not sure if this is the route i want to go. His lease is abou to be up at his apartments. We are together 7days a week. He sleeps at my house or i sleep at his apartment. Since day one we been together non stop. I know that i want to spend the rest of my life with him but im not too sure if its too early to move together. My bestfriend said go for it. Im 30 hes 24. We share everything. He dont have a checking account so i have all his money and i get his checks so i know how much he makes and he can pay the bills. Im just not sure what to do. Please help me. If you need additional info just let me know. We have an appointment in December to start the process of making him legal. Is it too soon? Should i follow my heart? What do you think? Please be honest and help me out.

well it seems the illegal part is kinda an issue whether you realize it or not and i say that because you found it necessary to mention he was illegal, no bank account, and his appointment to become legal. would you feel better about this decision if he were legal? i htink you know what you should do. just take your time by yourself and think it all over. remember in love/relationships although you should listen to your heart you should follow your head

Can I ask how you are going to make him legal? It depends on what you mean by he's illegal and if it can be reinstated without complicating things like deportation etc. Every situation is different and if you are confident he will be granted whatever status he needs then by all means. You are doing it out of love and if you are ready that as long as if your relationship doesn't work you will still feel good that you helped him out, I say good for you. As for moving in together, I think your relationship is still very premature for it. I understand that you're almost practically living together and he gives you his paycheck but me being the optimistic person I am, co-habiting before marriage and especially so soon like you guys, I would even doubt your relationship would work. Obviously you've just met and you can feel so strong that you could spend your lives together. Your relationship is relatively new and almost everyone gets smitten and feel that way in the beginning. There are certain things you might have to learn about each other and tolerate...meaning it's a big step. I think he should either renew his lease or find somewhere else to live. Let your love grow and if you still feel the same way a year from now...you are not being used and ofcourse then you can start thinking about living together again. Hey good luck and remember, if you're meant to be together, time will tell. No rush!

you said he is illegal--how can he work? If his social security number is invalid, The Social Security Administration and IRS will know by the end of a calendar quarter that he is working under an invalid number, and arrange to arrest and deport him. How can you make him legal? Only way to get a Green Card other than through LONG LONG process is to marry an American citizen. You said you were not ready for marriage. What other way can you make him LEGAL without revealing that he is now ILLEGAL ? Please be careful, and get a lawyer.

well i do think that it is too early, but if you think that it is love than i say go for it but think twice before you do it. Because a relationship with regrets isn't going to work
