John 13:34-35

34"A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. 35By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another."

We call ourselves Christians but lately this site is showing Aethists we are not by judging other people of different faiths or beliefs, that is not what Jesus wants

He wants us to love one another and respect each other and not condemn anyone

You say you love Jesus but where is the love?

Just stop and think would Jesus be happy with the fighting and judging that is happening here?

Amen. Thank you for reminding us.

I tend to get emotional about it all and strike back.
I apologize.

Spirit Wanderer has a great answer.

I doubt that he would be...after all, Jesus was the oldest form of hippy out there, wasn't he? Against wars, against hate...sans the Mary J but all-in-all...he was a hippy. But anyway, Christians warp and twist what they believe until it's so convoluted that I doubt Jesus or any of the original followers would be able to understand what happened to their vision. I find it sad but...I doubt you'll get any real...positive...responses to the ones who do this...

Hope this helps! ^_^

This love can only come from the Holy Spirit dwelling within a person.

"LOVE" as prescribed by Jesus looks like sweet medicine but it's not easy to swallow.
Just try showing love to a mischief and wicked next door neighbor....just try.
Try it tonight and call me tomorrow.
Have a wonderful evening folks. I truly love you all.

Jesus wanted us not to judge people but he never says that we cannot tell people when they are doing something that is wrong. He wants us to help keep people on the right path but NOT tell them "Your going to hell"!
Love is not telling people what they want to hear.

I guess I agree with you.Let's leave the judging of our hearts up to God, not humans.

I love my sons without measure however if they were running around fornicating, robbing or killing I would not stand around and pretend I do not think they are sinners, will I still love them? No doubt, will I pretend they are not living in sin and will probably never know salvation? I don't think so.

We are to love all people and part of that is telling them the truth. Truth will set you free. Truth will change your life. Truth will save your soul.
