agreements it has made with the coalition forces. Does this mean that the war will then be Nancy Pelosi's war? She appears to be taking control of it from the CiC! Doesn't this kind of put the responsibility of any deaths in her lap? Sounds like that is what SHOULD happen since she is making the decisions here!

Forgive me, mercerdevil, because it took me more than a few DTs to realize WHAT was SO funny about "condems."

My slow brain has kicked itself into gear! Thanks for the chuckle!

NP is a 100 years too late and MORE than a dollar short with this condemnation! It was the Ottomans who perpetuated this act on the Armenians - not the current group that finds itself leading the Turks!

The idea of blaming the present Turkish government for this crime is absurd, seeing the former government the Ottoman Empire committed the crime, yes it did happen. Congress again is wasting our tax dollar on something that is not going to change anything. So Comrade Pelosi needs to reign in her renegade democrats and concentrate on whats important for America.

This is the Dummicrats last stab at losing the war. They don't have the votes or balls to stop funding. They think that by pissing off the Turks they will take away airspace and attack N. Iraq (Kurds). There have already been two resolutions one in the early 70's and one in '84 condemning the Turks so this is a political play.

This is shameful! These people would rather us lose in Iraq than lose politically.

Anyone that comes up with such a convoluted idea has a warped mind. Just how are you going to blame past happening of a hundred years ago on Nancy? I don't like her or her ideas but this is over the top.

I don't think current Turkey's government should be condemned for something they did like 90 years ago. Also to think that Nancy Pelosi even gives a crap about Muslims killing Christians is stupid, just her far left agenda.

Congress basically collective said "we don't like what your ancestors did".

If Turkey as a country is fragile enough -- or irrational enough -- to make major political decisions because of a statement like that, then do we really want them for an ally?

And THERE IS NO WAR -- Congress never declared any war. At best, Bush keeps talking about his "War on Terror" -- which will never be anything other than his own creation.

Fine- I'll happily agree to that as long as someone more competent than George W. Bush is calling the shots.
