We are attempting to stop all illegal immigration, whether it is from Mexico, Honduras, Iran, or Saudi Arabia. The thing is that we do not share a border with countries other than Mexico and Canada.
We do not see a huge influx of people form Canada crossing our borders illegally. It is alos harder to get to Canada without having your imigration status in Canada Scrutinized. Thus Canada is not seen as a doorway into the US for those who are trying to get here to do us harm.
Mexico however is seen as an open door, It is a relatively simple matter for someone from another country to enter Mexico and make their way across to attempt to enter the United States.
The Mexican government unlike the Canadian Government is not only not attempting to stop this from happening, they are actively encouraging it with the publication of pamphlets, booklets, videos and DVD's on how and where it is easiest to cross our border.
Thus the need for the Fence. Now if this fence gives the impression that we only want to stop only Mexico so be it. But we want the invasion to stop, from everyone.
If you want to come here legally and legitimately, then welcome home to America, but if you are going to break our laws and scoff at our sovereignty then prepare for the consequences, becuase America is fed up!

Where the US borders are closest to the Mexican border, the influx of illegals from Mexico are the largest group entering illegally, so Mexico is the biggest problem. In Florida, it is a different story. Mostly Cuba and South America.

So you think Mexicans work harder than Americans, huh? So why is it then that WE have created a country that everyone aspires to live in and THEY are doing nothing to improve their situation besides fleeing their country to take advantage of OUR hard work?
The reason we hear so much about them is that they are flooding our borders like cockroaches.
We don't want any illegals.
All Mexicans or any other immigrants need to do to be welcomed here is go through the process and come here legally. As long as they continue to cross our borders illegally, we will continue to hate them.

Nonsense! We catch and deport a MUCH higher percentage of OTM's than Mexicans.
OTM is a designation the Border Patrol uses meaning "other than Mexican". OTM's such as Hondurans, Guatemalans, Chinese, Afghans, etc are simply that: of nationalities other than Mexican.
I only WISH we could catch a commensurate percentage of ALL nationalities, or as balanced as possible - 5% German, 5% Chinese, 5% Honduran, 5% Mexican, 5% Korean, etc.
But to do so would mean nabbing a few dozen Germans, a hundred or so Chinese, a couple thousand Honduran, a MILLION Mexicans, a few dozen Koreans, etc.
It's numbers. Stop whining, get things in perspective and realize who REALLY deserves the sympathy here, if any. The Greatest Generation. The people who began with nothing but gave everything so WE would have something. They did that on the promise that what they built would safely rest with their children; not be stolen. It fueled their determination as they toiled, fought, saved, disciplined and moved ever forward.
Had Mexico done the same, Mexicans would have no need to come.

That isn't true. They are working harder on other countries (look at the last bill and how there were holes you could drive a truck through for 'contiguous countries' and not many come illegally from Canada.)
Our borders to the north and south are known by everyone but our executive branch of government which wants them bordering Russia to the north and Guatemala to the south.

We only have land borders with two countries, Canada and Mexico. Since we don't have a huge illegal Canadian problem we are not going to build a fence there. Other Central and South Americans that enter the US illegally are coming in through Mexico.
All other entries are made at an airport. It is easy to ensure everyone entering has permission to do so. While it is not hugely common, people do get turned around at the airport and sent home.

Gee.....Maybe perhaps that the immigration population of all countries combined do not total the 30 million Mexicans that have invaded the United States?
But you can just add this misspelled idiotic question to all of the others that Mexicans have submitted to this forum........

Have you ever seen how much a terrorist can blend in with the Mexicans. Ive seen some Mexicans that could almost pass for Iranians. And vice-versa. Mexicans are hard workers cause the lazy ones would be deported. Why deport hard workers. They do the economy good.

There are 20 million illegal aliens in the US. Over half of those are from Mexico. 70% are Latino.
There are 190-something countries in the world.
SO a wildly disproportionate number of US illegal aliens are from Mexico, Central and South America.
The numbers speak for themselves.

Because there are 12-30 million Mexican Illegals in the USA.
Beat those numbers with any other country, then we'll talk.
Oh, and in case you didn't know...the Mexican government prints out this Helpful Comic Book on HOW-To ILLEGALLY Cross the US Border safely:
