I want an honest opinion and your reasons why. I don't want a camera for professional pictures just normal pictures of my everyday life.

Don't forget, I want your honest opinion and your reason why you chose that specific camera.

Personally I would go with the Nikon (#3). I have a Nikon Coolpix too, and it is a GREAT little camera. Mine is a bit more advanced than that one, but the brand and the model are really good.

I would either choose the Samusung(1) one or the Nikon (3)one.I have a Samsung camera and I use it to take normal pictures with my friends, it a great camera. I have the same one but it's from Best Buy. My brother has a Nikon one and it's kinda the same except it's silver, he use it all the time when we go on family trips. He got it at Wal-Mart. We both agree that these two cameras are awesome, I think you would be happy with either one!!!!

Normally the number of Megapixels is a good indicator of what camera is better.

However I own two Nikon Coolpix cameras and I can attest that they give a much better picture than most of the 'point and shoot' cameras. They also have better features such as automatically focusing on a person's face in portrait mode.

Eliminate the Ploaroid from consideration. The company was in bankruptcy and is pretty far behind on the imaging curve, and their cameras are flimsily built.

Samsung is not primarily a camera company. I used to use a Samsung digicam in my lab for passport photos, was not impressed.

I would choose the Nikon.

Go to www.dpreview.com and research fro yourself many different cameras, get the specs, see test results and read reviews.
