Compare their teachings and their actions with the Bible and you will know if they are true Christians leaders.
We need to be very careful when we focus our attention on men in place of God. Satan leads people to look to bishops, pastors, priests, as their guides instead of studying and searching the Holy Scriptures for ourselves. Be careful with religious leaders who focus only on numbers, fame and wealth. They are the reason why so many people reject religion. The Bible warns us against false teachers/prophets. But how can we tell them apart if we don't read the Bible?
Many people trust blindly the teachings of their religious leaders without realizing that their souls are at stake. They do what their ministers instruct them to do without doing the research for themselves.
Run away from any leader who claims the Bible has a mystical, secret language you can't understandand, who claims God's Holy Law was abolished, and who claims the old testament is not needed.
"Ignorance is no excuse for error or sin, when there is every opportunity to know the will of God"
Read the Holy Scriptures and it will help you recognize a true leader from a false one.

If they are asking for money don't trust them. Also, if they insinutate that if you pay them money you will be blessed with GREAT financial blessings and success, stay away from them. Many of these preachers have extravagant lifestyles because of these donations.
