I get so freaking upset. Why is it a while back (US) flexes her muscles by practicing little war ship games off the iranian coast, yet russia flys there planes dangerously close to our zones to mock us yet we flake it off. What gets me so upset is that putin. Id like to kill that idiot. Anyways what is your thought on our actions as a country and if it is not your country what is your thought on this issue ?

Well yeah, it's been concerning those of us in other countries for a while now. I would imagine that if your military wasn't as powerful as it is, other countries would have put a stop to it by now. On the other hand, if your military wasn't as strong as it is, maybe you wouldn't be doing it. You know, with all that money you are spending on the military you could have bought an awful lot of oil peacefully. We have lots here for sale.

You don't understand posturing or law. You don't understand strategy or a show of force. A good show of force can prevent many conflicts. Would you walk up and punch a tough, skilled fighter? Let the world know that we can fight and win and the world won't be so quick to fight us. It doesn't always work, but that's the plan. Russia does the same. They show a force. The difference is that they are more show than actual force compared to us.

Well see what happened is we have the drive by media (you know the ones that report on Britney Spears, Lindsey Loham, etc. and world events) that loves communism and thinks its beautiful. Nothing harmful could come from Russia, they only kill there own people and the American drive by media doesn't report on that because it would take thought and conviction

Concerning -- no. Far beyond that.

We are a country that ignores its own laws -- attacks anyone we want based on no legal justification -- is blatantly hypocritical -- and so politically divided the only thing stopping us from another civil war is collective apathy and lethargy.

So, the fact that we also engage in bully-ish posturing is way down on the priority list of problems to fix.
