Parakeepts always fight with each other...always...they are just nasty little birds for some reason...Don't worry when they are BOTH ready to breed, they will be more than willing to breed...
Sometimes one of them just might not be ready to breed, usually the female...the males are always ready...good luck

"Make them like each other"??? That's ridiculous. Birds are not like cats or dogs. They tend to be more like humans when it comes to mates. They can be picky too.

You sound like you definitely do not know enough about birds to be breeding them. That's not an insult. It's a fact. So many things can go wrong.
Do you know what to do if the female becomes egg bound?
Do you know what "egg bound" means?
Do you know what a good breeding diet consists of?
Do you know what to do if the parents reject a chick?
Do you know how to hand feed baby birds?
That is just a tiny sample of what you need to know BEFORE you start trying to breed birds. I'm not trying to berate you; I'm hoping a little reality sinks in though. My gosh, you know so little about birds in general that you are on here asking if there is a way to "make" your birds like each other. That is a clear indication that you should not be breeding birds... at least not at this time.

Education is readily available so take advantage. Join some online Budgie groups and learn all you can.

Don't mate two birds if your inexpereicned. I would wait a few years after owning budgies before tryin mating. A number of things such as spay legs or hatchling neglect could happen. Please don't breed them if your not ready to.

In my case two doves fought a lot and the female dove eventually mated a male budgie.
