As U.S. has different time zone, you have to specify where on U.S. you refer to. It's 12/13 hrs ahead from Eastern (New York) ,13hrs/14hrs from Central (Chicago), 14/15 hrs from Denver,Colorado (Mountain) and 15/16hrs from Los Angeles (Pacific). If from Alaska, its 16/17hrs & from Hawaii its 17/18hrs. The first one is Standard Timing and the latter one is for during Daylight Saving Hours.

Hong Kong share same time zone as Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, The Philippines, Brunei and Western Australia, whichs includes Perth & Frementle.
