Next time you see something like this on the web or through an email go to http://www.snopes.com/critters/crusader/bonsai.asp Oops sorry just realized person above me posted same link! Snopes is great for finding out the truth about all the bogus stuff on the web.

It's a hoax. I think it was originally posted as a college student prank, but like everything on the Internet, it has taken on a life of its own.
