I have Vista Home... with internet expolorer... and can not get the flash player to down load to my system.
I switched and use Firefox and then have no problem with the flash player but everytime I open the internet with firefox i have to redo the color adjustment cuz the screen is all messed up.
Is there a solution to my problems... I like Internet Explorer and really getting to hate Vista...
Is there an addition of I.E 7 that will work with Vista and can install the flash player??????

When I installed Vista, it came with its own IE, all compatable with the new operation system. I'd recommend for you to uninstall IE, then reinstall (make sure its a vista-friendly version) it.
If this does not help, I would troubleshoot it with Microsoft.

I strongly suspect that the topic is with Vista as against your utility and particular hardware (Motherboard etc) i'm now no longer waiting to even think of roughly Vista till the bugs are ironed out in service %. a million or morel possibly service %. 2. particularly some those Vista subjects are very very comparable to the preliminary subject early adopters of XP experienced. Then maximum suitable thank you to word Vista is to get a gadget it fairly is sixty 4 Bit and all hardware is wisely acceptable and all utility is wisely acceptable solid fulfillment i wish you have deep wallet.

The problem may not be MS Vista but rather the Flash player installation. Try right clicking the installer and selecting "Run as Administrator" and see if that resolves your problem.

The easier solution would be to go with MS XP and let MS Vista and 3rd party developers work out the problems for a while.

Download the flash removal tool from Adobe. Run it and then start Internet explorer. Turn off the pop up blocker in tools menu. Reinstall flash player. Restart Internet explorer and turn back on flash player. I had this problem and this fixed it

Congratulations, you are the 10 zillionth person who hates Vista. Be smart next time and dont buy into Microsoft Krapola. Get www.kubuntu.org which is a free operating system instead.

I have Vista and IE7 and FlashPlayer...not a problem with any! Luv Vista!
Not crazy about IE7 though....
but i do agree with the previous responder who says it is not a VISTA problem...it is probably a FlashPlayer or IE problem.

good luck :)
