The way this problem is skirted always amazes my.
It appears as if God planned on abandoning the Jews from the very start.
Why would God clear out the promised land, committing genocide on all the original inhabitants, only to turn his back on the Jews and then transmit their inheritance of paradise over to the Gentiles he despised in the first place?
God spent 4,000 years keeping the Jews separate from Gentiles, only to mix them in with Christianity, knowing that Christianity would adopt pagan rituals like Christmas, Easter and Communion which he intently kept the Jews from?
Doesn't makes sense at all.

Actually I have on no account inspiration of that approximately a Muslims, the man Christians I realize do not trouble discussing different peoples ideals, I best realize what I realize from the web, peoples tales and so on.What I do realize is as you stated Muslims receive Jesus as a prophet, however simply now not as God. I have an understanding of why you are saying so, such as you say you're watching at what is sensible, however why? A God growing the whole thing would not make as so much feel to anyone believing Jesus is God.

The Law (the Torah) is considered by the New Testament to have been completely fulfilled by Jesus (Matthew 5:17-18). Complete fulfillment could only occur with the moment of Jesus' death (John 19:30). That death is considered the culmination of the Law (Romans 10:4; Galatians 3:24-25; Ephesians 1:7; Hebrews 10:12, 14). Everything occurring to Jesus prior to that moment would have had to be under the Law. Yet, neither the physical condition (blemished), the age (over thirty years of age), the date (15 Nisan), the location (outside Jerusalem and its Temple), the executioners (Romans), the method (crucifixion), nor the cause of Jesus' death (either asphyxiation or shock), is in accordance with that prescribed by the Scriptures for the sacrificing of a paschal lamb. Therefore, the Law was not fulfilled in Jesus. The evidence shows that he could not be equated with the paschal lamb.

Zechariah 8:23 - "Thus saith the LORD of hosts; In those days it shall come to pass, that ten men shall take hold out of all languages of the nations, even shall take hold of the skirt of him that is a Jew, saying, We will go with you: for we have heard that God is with you."
how could this be, since the jews are wrong about jesus? since the jews are blinded and do not recognize G-d, shouldn't zechariah be saying that the jews should be taking hold of the gentiles and following THEM?
seriously, if you want to say that jesus is the messiah or G-d, and that jews are all wrong, then you also have to deny scripture, because scripture says that its the jews who are going to have the right idea about the messiah.

ok they were not the only ones to accept the the torah or pentatouch or whatever they want to call it.
If you asking this question then I'll ask another one
Wouldn't God be a liar if they DIDN'T reject him?
God said that the messiah would be rejected by his own people!
And also, not ALL the jews rejected him, the ones who are still jews rejected him, about half the jews accepted him, but they are now christians.
THEY sure thought Jesus fulfilled all the prophesies.

uh - Scriptures are sufficient. We don't need links to try to make the Bible say something other than the plain, simple text.
And no - that is NOT calling God a liar! The Bible demonstrates that there is NONE righteous, no not one. There is none that seek after God. All we like sheep have gone astray, we have each turned to his own way.
It wasn't Greeks and Romans that spread Christianity - it was Jews who believed that Jesus is the Messiah of God to Israel that spread the message; so you're mistaken about the early history of Christianity.
Those of us who believe that Jesus is the Messiah point to the scriptures of the prophets from David to Micah, from Daniel to Isaiah. We believe that the Scriptures speak for themselves and they clearly point to the Messiah, when, where, who, etc. We believe that Jesus fulfilled these Scriptures.
What's really sad is that Christianity became popular, everybody was jumping on the "band wagon", but not truly becoming what Jesus taught, and continued to live as they always lived, thus giving Jesus and his followers a bad name.
Fortunately, God sees the heart and can tell who belongs to Him and not. Jesus told a parable about a man who planted a field of wheat, and an enemy of his went in and planted tares in the midst of the wheat. These tares have done great damage to the cause of the gospel message, but in the parable, the land owner told his servants to go ahead and let them grow, then at the time of the harvest they would be separated out and cast into the fire.
And it IS possible for God's chosen people to be blinded by the lies and insults that have been cast against them without calling God a liar.
Just remember, if the natural branch is cut off because of unbelief, then the branch that was grafted in contrary to nature can just as easily be cut off.
Likewise, if the branch can be grafted in contrary to nature, then how much more so that the natural branch be able to be grafted back in to its proper place. This comes from believing the message, just as it is written, "Abraham believed God and that was accounted to him for his righteousness." We, likewise, believe that God's Messiah came and did exactly what the Scriptures claimed he would do, and will come again "with the 10,000s of his saints" at the end of the age. (This IS a Jewish Scripture, not a NT quote, even though I can't quite remember the "address".)
But be of good cheer, be faithful to God in all you do, and don't follow the example of many agnostic and atheistic Jews today! God said through his prophet Jeremiah, "If you seek me, then you shall find me, when you search for me with all of your heart, and I WILL be found of you, says the L-RD".

Jesus wasn't against beliefs of Jews as an entire race - the Hall of Faith in Hebrews 11 lists many Jews who are clearly saved. And Jesus Himself was a Jew (racewise).
However Jesus was against beliefs of the Pharisees, the teachers of the law at the time. Jesus was against legalism that wasn't in the bible. Jesus stated that full trust + belief in Jesus as personal Saviour was enough to bring salvation. Christians believe in that because Jesus' death is sufficient to pay for the Christians' sin, and Jesus' resurrection is convincing re: evidence.

That is truly one way of looking at the issue but I prefer to believe that the Christians has it wrong. Jesus didn't become officially the Son of God until 325 AD at the Council of Nicaea.

I like the points you make.
You are totally right; we are told very specific events that will occur when the real messiah arrives. One such event is world peace, which clearly did not happen when Jesus was alive.
If the Jews at that time had recognised any or most of the signs, they would have embraced Jesus. But they knew he was just an ordinary man, a Rabbi (teacher) which is why we don't recognise him as the messiah, nor the son of G-d, for we believe that all people are children of G-d, equally.
When Jesus referred to himself as son of G-d, he didn't mean that he exclusively was this, either.
Paul, who really developed and spread Christianity, DID NOT EVEN MEET JESUS.

Prophesy is irrelevant. When there is peace on earth for all mankind we will KNOW who the messiah is. Why look for him until there is peace on earth? You won't miss him! He will be human, not divine, and has nothing to do with "salvation!"
Evolver: I told that exact story to my evangelical brother-in-law who told me that by that time it'll be "TOO LATE."
The Christian "heaven" is exclusive to Christians. They are soooo sorry for us non-believers!
No Jews -- zip, zero, none -- believe Jesus was a prophet!
Sentinel: "...heretical Babylonian Talmud?" Are you starting witch hunts and the Crusades again????
Primary Format of Display: The God of the Hebrew Bible would never accept a human sacrifice! A man-made god is the ultimate heresy.
