I was 17 when I got in trouble and was on probabtion and served the term. I left with the permission of my probabtion officer and that was in 2002. I found out last year when I was at the airport that were was a warrent out for my arrest. This past week I contacted the police in Dc and they told me that they have nothing on on me in the state of MD, DC, VA. I called 2 county's in Wisconsin and only one showed the warrent and the other county said I was clear. I have done the research and have found out that I have the same charge in two county's.

My questions is. If I get finger printed will something pop up? and if so what can they do? If this happened when I was 17

Last but not least isn't that against the law. If you are punished for a crime and serve the term to serve it twice?

"Will it popup?" Hard to say. Depends how far back they go and if they check in WI. Since it is an open warrant the fact that it all started when you were 17 goes out the window.

"Last but not least isn't that against the law. If you are punished for a crime and serve the term to serve it twice?" - If that is the case. You need to find out what the warrant is for. It is more likely you missed a fine payment or something like that.

You should call and square this away and not just hope it doesn 't show up. These things have a habit of surfacing at the worst times.

Many times paperwork gets bungled and things don't get pulled or deleted like they should so it could be an honest mistake that it wasn't removed.

As far as whether something could pop up. It's possible it could. Might be best to lay all the cards on the table to the one you are getting fingerprinted for and try and get the situation straightened out in WI as soon as you can. Hopefully you have all your paperwork to show the case has been resolved.

And you haven't done time twice so that is a moot point right now. You definitely need to get this resolved as soon as you can so it won't continue to haunt you this way.

Wishing you well........

The employer isn't punishing you (a second time), they just might not like to have dishonest people working there (so they would have grounds to not hire you if you were to lie about your situation before they investigate). Furthermore, if their company deals with money or people, they may not want to hire a criminal who would have the potential to steal from them or their customers or do harm to them or their customers. It just comes down to common sense. The fact that you have a warrant out for you suggests that you are to much of a realist, so I wouldn't want to hire you on the basis that you have ignored an open problem (that you might easily be able to clear up).

definite; yet then, i have worked at an excellent style of banks, and fingerprinting for applications of being bonded is SOP. Ditto for the drug attempt. One monetary employer I worked for fingerprinted me (and everybody else) any time we were allowed onto a diverse digital device or partition. there's a incredible style of digital money accessible, and that i do not blame them contained in the least. i easily flunked a drug attempt once because of a few prescription drugs that i become taking; i extremely want that that they had ask for that concepts before they do the urinalysis, to ward off issues. obviously, it would want to be elementary to get info of what you've been prescribed out of your pharmacy, and failing to finish that led to all styles of unnecessary hassles.

if you were 17 the record should have been sealed as you were a juvenile.

if you did time your done ppo can clear warrant if it is same charge.

same charge in two counties-contact county and see what they want to do.
