There are ultra-pasteurized milks available. Because Americans are accustomed to refrigerated fresh milk we have not needed the long life products. it just has not caught on. Walmart here has it. I have bought it to take camping. But that is about it.

Because like all fresh milk here in the US and Canada, is less pasturized and as we here have mre abundant refrigeration it is not heated to the same temparture long life milk has been.

In parts of the US and Canada we have a ultra-high temparture UHT milk, it is found in the canned milk area around the carnation and generic evaporated milks and sweetened condensed milks, to make dulce de leche you use the canned SWC and poach it in a pan until the sugars caramelize.
