jane did not mention the four other children. two other siblings are thinking of buying something else to put on the gravesite. what do you think?

Jane must be really angry and resentful about something.
Did she have to foot the bill for hospital or other expenses all by herself?
Did she buy the gravestone all by herself?
Even if she did, she should have discused the writting with the rest of you. Maybe you should have all come together and bought the stone. Now, all you can do is add the extra names.
But don't expect Jane to be happy about it,. She won't be.

Wow. How spiteful can a person be? I assume that she did this because she paid for the stone, and no one else contributed? Or, she was a daughter by a different wife? Even if one of these is the case, this is pettiness to the extreme. Yes, I think it would be perfectly acceptable to add a plaque or something stating the names of the other children. All of them. Don't perpetuate the pettiness by excluding any of your siblings or half-siblings. You might want to give Jane a heads up, and get her assurance that she will not tamper with it or remove it. And, you might also want to let the managers of the cemetery know to keep an eye out for any one attempting to remove or vandalize your plaque.

If the other children weren't helping Jane pay for the cost of the memorial, she should have waited until she could afford to pay for all of their names. They should ask Jane if they can contribute additional money to have their names included on the gravestone.

Maybe he was not their father, so they where not put on for that reason. Alot of children don't really know there real father, but are raised believing he is. The other siblings should talk to her about it, and voice their feelings.

I think Jane should mention the other children because she would not like for someone to hide her name from a place form where her father is or not be connected to him. Do to other as you want done to you!!!
