I am a girl who loves gym class(im in highschool) except for one problem... a sexist gym teacher. He is failing all of the girls in his class on purpose because he has a theory that girls are weaklings and don't participate in anything( yes he has told us this in those exact words). That may be true for some girls but i always participate in running, sports, etc. He is usually pointing me out and claims that i dont work hard enough, he is often making rude comments towards me as well while he tries to look down my shirt. Many people agree that he is an arrogant man and i think he is a weak one as well for judging girls so harshly and giving boys all the credit even if they are just sleeping on the sidelines of the football field not doing anything. Not to have a negative attitude, but i can already assume i am going to get a C or lower...because thats all i can expect from a sexist jerk like him. So, any suggestions on what i can do to avoid FAILING his class?

well, I say to talk to a trusted adult, preferably female, and/or get a bunch of ur friends to make anonymous (sucky spelling, I know sry) phone calls from payphones, but space them out, not like one after the other, u know? Call the school and tell them, don't call your gym teacher! Do 2 one day, spaced out, then one the next day, skip a day, the one again, etc.

I have a sexist math teacher, but he's not as bad as ur gym teacher. He doesn't fail us or anything, but it is so annoying. He thinks girls are better tho. I think you need to tell the principal or whoever's in charge of the school about it.

You can confront him or you can also go to his superiors and inform them of how he speaks to the females and how uncomfortable he makes them feel by staring at their chests or down their blouses. It would be wise if you could get some back up from some of your peers as it is tough when just one person is making these claims. Best of luck and hopefully you can get this resolved to your satisfaction.

Gym class is stupid and shouldn't even affect whether or not someone gets honor roll. I think that is the real problem.

you should really talk to the principal about the teacher and tell somebody what the teacher has been doing. even telling your parents, then they could tell someone

for a week dont work hard and show him how it really is if u dont do anything and then go back to how u r and mayb itll show him that u really are trying hard!

go to your principal about this and they can set something up. you can write a note or something and they wont know who you are. but the best thing to do is to go to the principal.

he is doing stuff not so great...i would tell the princapal that hes doing all this stuff good luck no girl should be treated like this

What he's doing is illegal, you should talk to a school counselor or principal about it.
If you're uncomfortable doing it yourself, get other people to talk to the counselor with you.
